… Then you have to design some kick-ass monsters. And it’s hard! I’ve had to consider the skill level of the actors in the complexity of the operation mechanisms, the height and width of the doorways, and of course the overall visual impact – where do I want to spend my “money” in terms of getting the most impact for the effort. It has been a complex process and I’ve been on the phone with the director, puppet coach and production manager over and over again to make it as awesome as possible.
